There is a news that uploading of information relating to certain sale bills which has been made compulsory by Punjab Govt as per a public notice, has been made optional instead of being compulsory. This was to be made compulsory w.e.f 01-06-2011, but now as per a news in a newspaper it has been made optional. The news is produced herebelow for ready reference  Share |

We need to clarify following confusions :
1. When will Entry Tax on Plastic Raw Materials end up. News in newspapers came many times but it is still charged.
2. Is Entry Tax paid on Plastic raw materials refundable to Tax Free sale product manufacturers like Agro Products (Sprayers)
The levy of Entry tax in Punjab has been stayed by Punjab & Haryana High Court in Bhushan Steel case. If you want to avail the deferment from payment of entry tax you can apply for it as per general circular of the Department.
Entry tax paid is not refundable if tax free goods are produced out of it
Is there any public notice or circular making it optional to uload sales details
No public notice or circular has been issued as yet to make it optinal apart from the above news published in the newspapers. Position is still uncertain.
