Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana is updating its Roll of Advocates enrolled with it. Hence a direction has been issued to all Advocates of Punjab & Haryana for submission of information in the form annexed with the letter issued as produced herebelow. The letter as well as the application form is being produced herebelow for all concerned readers of the blog.

Subject; Updating the State roll of Advocates with photographs.
Dear Sirs,
As per directions of Bar Council of India, the Sub-Committee, is required to prepare and update, Roll of Advocates, enrolled with State Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, with latest photograph and as such information is required in the prescribed Performa with passport size photograph, duly attested by President or Secretary of Bar Association of which/she he is a member and in case he/she is not a member of any Bar Association, photograph should be attested by Executive Magistrate(with seal) or member Bar Council.
Therefore, all advocates whose name are borne on the roll of Advocates(State Roll) are requested to supply the necessary information with photograph in the prescribed form, latest by 25.11.2012, positively, in the office of Bar Council.
It is further requested to display a copy of this letter together with a copy of prescribed form, on the Notice Board of your Bar Association for information of all Members of your association and also to circulate a copy of this letter and prescribed form, amongst the members of your Bar, in such a manner that every member of your Bar Association gets a copy of Prescribed form.
(1) Note: The form should sent with proper Diary/Despatch no. of the Bar Association.
(2) The incomplete prescribed form would be liable to be rejected.
