I have received The IT strategy for GST implementation. It contains the broad IT plan for enabling GST, which was presented to Government of India and Empowered committee of State Finance Ministers on 21-7-2010.
The strategy is very helpful in understanding the procedural aspect of GST and understanding how it will work when comes to IT infrastructure required for implementation of GST as and when it comes into operation.

Thanks for providing information on IT Strategy for GST implementation.The strategy may be well worked out but its success will largely depend upon the level of computerisation of data and updating of data. Has any time limit or deadline fixed for it.It has to be readied in a time-bound manner well before GST implementation or else the problem will be too big and there may be further demand to defer GST implementation.
